Under the scope of the application:
In the Industrial Sector:
Projects achieving instantaneous minimum energy savings of 500 kW in electricity, 750 kW in heat energy, or 750 kW in combined heat and electricity energy per project, with a payback period of 5 years or less, will be accepted.
In the Energy Sector:
Projects achieving instantaneous minimum energy savings of 1 MW per project, with a payback period of 5 years or less, will be accepted.
In Other Sectors:
Projects achieving instantaneous minimum energy savings of 100 kW per project, with a payback period of 5 years or less, will be accepted.
It is mandatory to install energy monitoring systems to demonstrate the energy savings under the proposed project. The investment costs of these systems will also be included in the project cost calculation.
In accordance with Article 8, Paragraph 2 of the Regulation on Increasing Efficiency in the Use of Energy Resources and Energy, a TS EN ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certificate obtained through organizations or companies accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) must be submitted. However, ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certificates issued by non-TÜRKAK-accredited organizations or companies will also be accepted, provided their validity period is ongoing as of the application date.
Projects must be prepared in compliance with the Implementation Procedures and Principles of the VAP Support Program and the application dossier.
